KeyShift - Changing lives!
In the digital world, there is a lot of misery that is not immediately recognizable. Children and young people are affected the most and are usually the victims. It is time to train and educate teachers, children and young people. After 25 years of experience in the IT sector, we are taking on this task and passing on our knowledge.
It's time to change the course of the world and make it better, safer and stronger.

We stand up for children. Children are not to blame if they are born into poverty.
Since 2014, we have been working with our companies in the digital sector worldwide to provide parents, teachers and children with comprehensive information on the topic of digital media education. Every year, many conferences and lectures are held free of charge.
Our knowledge is not only used in Switzerland and Europe, but also in South America, Asia and other regions of the world.
Columbia
In Maicao, a town in the northern department of Guajira in Colombia, the number of street children may be lower, but the poverty level of the indigenous population there, the Wayas, means that parents can barely feed their children more than once or twice a week. Families who are neglected by the state live in simple cardboard houses and have no access to clean drinking water.
The school, which was built in one of the rancherias, provides vital support for many local families. The children who attend this school not only enjoy learning, but also show impressive intelligence.
Haiti
After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, not only the capital Port-au-Prince but also numerous coastal areas were severely affected. Around 300,000 people lost their lives and three million were affected by the consequences, leaving many homeless. Other catastrophic events such as epidemics, landslides, floods, droughts and hurricanes occurred in the following years.
Political instability, unemployment, absolute poverty and hunger have led to a low life expectancy of just 40 years and an alarmingly high infant mortality rate. The literacy rate is only 20-25% and the country is confronted with a large number of street children.
Media Education
As the cornerstone of society, the family plays a central role in the moral development of children. In the digital era, children and young people face challenges as their perceptions are not yet fully formed. Parents and schools are often inadequately prepared for this development.
The rapid spread of digital media is shaping the environment in which children grow up. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to deal with the opportunities and risks of digital media and to emphasize media education in particular in order to protect the younger generation from the challenges of the modern world.

Children's villages in Colombia 22.01.2024
My wife Irina and I were able to travel to Colombia in January this year to see the children's villages in Colombia, which we are able to support thanks to donations from the KeyShift Verein. We talked to the local teachers and aid workers and discussed further steps to provide the children not only with food, but also with education through the construction of schools.
How do we protect our children from addiction and surveillance on the Internet? 20.02.2024
February, 20 - 22, 2024 (Luzern)
The rapid digitalization of our society has undoubtedly brought numerous benefits, but it also poses risks, especially for children and young people. Parents are often faced with the challenge of navigating their children safely through the digital worlds, while at the same time technological progress is constantly creating new opportunities and potential dangers. In this context, education and training are crucial to enable parents, teachers and other interested parties to recognize the risks and respond appropriately.
Lecture on media literacy and media education 03.02.2024
February 3, 2024 (school in Zurich)
The increased consumption of games or gaming in the evening poses a danger for many children and increasingly affects their ability to concentrate at school. An addiction to video games can develop as early as age 9, which can negatively impact children's academic performance and general well-being. In this situation, parents have a crucial role to play as they must be careful to recognize the signs of video game addiction in their children early on and act accordingly.
Through your support, we have the opportunity to give many more lectures, but also to visit a much larger number of schools and parents. Many families are broken and many children are addicted, but you can help us with your support to help these families and children!
Your donation will make a difference in the lives of many families and children.
